Its often been said that women test men. I believe this to be true too. But why do they do it?

Here are 3 reasons as to why women test men.

Reason #1: To See If You Can Handle Her Emotions

Women are emotional creatures. They like to have a good cry, get angry, feel love, and many other emotional charged feelings.

She can’t just unleash all of that emotion on any guy. It wouldn’t be safe to do that. Most men can’t handle all that emotion. She wants a guy who knows how to deal with it.

This is why you may have to deal with women being angry and crabby. Some women will introduce you to that attitude as soon as you meet her.

Can you handle her anger?

Can you handle her crabby attitude?

If you can’t handle it, or know how to respond to it, then your best off meeting a different woman.

In some cases it is better to just go meet a better woman. Some women feel that it is their right to be angry. You will have to deal with her anger all the time. Is that something you can live with?

Reason #2: To Not Get Hurt

Most women that seem a little tough inside aren’t really that tough. These women are really just afraid of getting hurt.

This is why some women won’t make conversation with you easily.

You: What do you do for a living?
Her: Like you really care!

The faster she opens herself up to you the more she risks getting hurt. She just can’t make herself look too available to you.

This is why being a little more persistent then the other guys can sometimes be very effective. Where other guys give up you stick with it a little longer. This shows her you are committed to getting to know the real her more then the guy who gave up too easily.

(You have to be careful with this. You can come across as too desperate and needy.)

Reason #3: To Attract A Higher Quality Man

This one doesn’t always apply to every woman.

An attractive women who is well educated, has a great job, runs her own business, or has a high status job will look to attract a man with similar high qualities.

- She will test him hard.
- She will scrutinize his behavior and personality.
- She will make him work to be with her.

She will try to set a big barrier to entry.

Basically, women try to attract quality over quantity.

That last sentence applies to most women.
