How important really is the first date? Pretty darn important if you want to see her again. So were going to take a look at some things you can do to make it go smoothly.

By now you should have approached enough women that you have been able to get some numbers. Now your going to have to pick one of these women to go on a date with. Lets give one a call.

Focus on the basics of a good phone call. This means keep it short and sweet. Because most men struggle with talking to a woman you want to make plans then get off. Your focus should be getting her to commit to something. Don’t stay on the phone for hours on end.

Know what you want to do, where you will meet or whether you will pick her up, what time the date will be at, and anything else you think she should know. If you want the date to be a surprise then make sure you tell her what sort of clothes she should wear for the occasion.

Your date idea needs to offer a good opportunity for the two of you to talk. You can also include this with an activity. This allows you to talk and have some fun at the same time. Something like bowling then drinks afterwards would work fine.

Here are 5 other things you need to look out for.

1. Keep the conversation Balanced or About her

The more talking she does and the more it is about her the better. Allot of women will try to test you or qualify you on the first date. You can get around allot of that stuff if you get her to talk about herself. The more she enjoys herself and gets caught up in the moment the more likely she will forget that it is even a date.

2. Flirt With Her

This one is very important. You have to flirt with her. Plain vanilla conversation wont work if you want to stay out of the friends trap. Tease her and be playful. Again you want her to focus on what a great time she is having rather then testing you and asking you silly questions.

3. Be Interesting & Compelling But Not Revealing

On your back is a big hairy wart. You used to be really depressed. Your a virgin. You have never been on a date before. There is no need to tell her any of that stuff. That’s being to revealing for a first date. She will be more likely to accept your flaws once she has gotten to know you and is attracted to you. Work on the attraction stuff first.

4. Listen To Her

When your talking to a woman make sure you are listening. You can keep the conversation going easily simply by listening to what she is telling you. Don’t get caught thinking to far ahead all the time. What should I say next? What should I do next? Always focus on the moment instead of thinking about what needs to be done.

5. Take Risks

Most men are too conservative. Conservative behavior is what nice guys do. Its what gets you labeled as a friend. You have to take some chances. Touch her, hold her hands, kiss her, cuddle with her, and do things that create momentum. You don’t have to have sex with her tonight, but you can start creating sexual tension tonight.
